Rates Effective January 1, 2025

Below are the rates for City of Benton residential customers

Electric

Service Availability Charge = $15.00

Rate for Electric Usage = $.09008 per kilowatt hour

Water

Service Availability Charge = $13.55

Rate for Water (after the first thousand gallons included in above charge) = $5.565 per 1,000 gallons.

Sewer

Service Availability Charge = $28.55

Rate based on Water usage = $5.625 per 1,000 gallons

An average Benton Utilities residential customer inside the City of Benton will notice approximately a $0.50 per day increase, if they enjoy all three of the above services. 

***Seniors will continue to enjoy 10% discount on service availability charges for Water & Sewer***

Benton Utilities Customers located outside the city limits will continue to be charged a rate 1.75 times the above rates.
